The Road to Wrestlemania 31 starts now, Predictions for Next Years Match Line-up.
With the confetti still falling at the Silverdome, oh wait the Superdome, it is definitely not too early to start looking forward to Wrestlemania 31, which will be held at the new San Francisco 49er's Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Ca. on March 25, 2015.
The Undertaker's loss at Wrestlemania 30, opens up the card to new possibilities for the younger superstars on the roster to take the ball and run with the card.
As much as many would love for CM Punk to be included in next years showcase of the immortals, but we cannot bank on it. Especially since during this years event, instead of being in New Orleans, Punk was spotted front row at a Chicago Blackhawks hockey game.

The Ascension vs. The Wyatts (Harper and Rowan)
WWE Tag Team Championship Match
With the way The Ascension is being booked in NXT and on several WWE house shows, the WWE is setting themselves up for a hell of a match come WM31, when Harper and Rowan of the Wyatts, who should be champs within the next year takes on the WWE's golden new tag team. Putting both teams over as the brands top teams, and the long term future of the company.Sammy Zahn vs. Seth Rollins
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Off the coat tails of an independent wrestling sweetheart, Daniel Bryan becoming a huge star, the WWE might be looking to cash in on the idea of having two wrestlers who scratched their way up in the wrestling world, battle it out on the biggest stage in the year. Rollins being champion, after a feud with Big E in the latter part of 2014, takes on his old road rival El Generico now known as Sammy Zahn.
Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro
With Rollins in a match with Sammy Zahn and Roman Reigns, in another match that we will talk about in a few minutes, The mouthpiece of the Shield, needs an opponent on the level of the level of Ambrose's Shield cohorts. Cesaro fits the bill, even though he is this years WWE Universes sweetheart that people want to see in the main event, the truth plain and simple is that he is not ready, so why not take on a superstar like Ambrose who could give Cesaro the match of his career.
Randy Orton winner of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.
Even if you hate hearing it, you can not deny the fact that Randy Orton is a major star for the WWE, and a shoe in for the WWE Hall of Fame shortly after he hangs up his boots. But never has he had a true Wrestlemania moment. Yes, he has had major victories at WM, but never was there ever a moment that celebrated Orton for how good he has really been during his career. So him winning the Battle Royal would be the explanation point for the career of the viper.
John Cena vs. Sheamus
I know this might sound like a boring match now, but there is good chance that the bar brawling evil irishman might be making a return to the WWE, and if Sheamus does turn heel, this would be a perfect way to give Cena a viable opponent, without burying any of the younger talent in the WWE.
Triple H vs. Roman Reigns
If you have not noticed, Triple H is in better shape now than at any time during his career, thanks to his work with the Fitness guru's at DeMarco's gym in New Jersey. So what will come the norm for the next several years, we will see Triple H be in the ring to put over WWE's top up and comers, and who better for him to versus than Roman Reigns, who is on the verge of becoming the companies next top guy for many years to come.
Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Earlier in 2014, the storyline of Bryan and Wyatt was cut short due to the fans not taking to the storyline, but come next year, Bryan who will still be the top of the top as the companies best babyface, would go perfect with the companies soon to be best heel. The storyline is an easy one to right, good vs. evil, using Bryan's popularity against him, by feeding on Bray's capability to get under the Goat's skin.
Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock
As promised by The Rock, he will make his return to the ring for the 31st Wrestlemania. Who else to versus the most electrifying man is sports entertainment than the man who ended the Undertaker's streak. This also works out perfect for both competitors part time schedule, and for the buy rate of the event, as The Rock brings in the mainstream appeal, and Lesnar brings in those who want to see the man who finished off the deadman, and a guy who has conquered both the squared circle and the octagon of UFC.
Yes, I know that there is a great chance that most of these matches won't happen. I am not Nostradamus, but more than anything I am really just thinking of how great the future looks for this company. As many of the boring characters are getting older and starting to move on, making room on the stage for some much great young talent. Feel free to comment your dream Wrestlemania 31 card below. I will get you started on other matches that would make sense to happen next year.
Big Show vs. Mark Henry vs. Kane. - Goodbye match, as all men are looking to retire soon, why not do it together as all three came into the company around the same time, only fitting to leave at the same time.
AJ Lee vs. Paige- A match that many have talked about happening for a while now, and I do not blame people for wanting this match, both are amazing womens wrestlers and would be a great story.
Ziggler, The Miz and Ryder vs. Ryback, Axel and Swagger- Cause fuck it, that's why.

Wrestlemania 30 Predictions by Down to the Mat
Diva's
open invitational:
Delay-
As boring as things have been of late with AJ
Lee, I see her holding on to her belt, possibly pinning Tamina Snuka, setting
up a feud that will run them through the spring time.
Freestyle-
AJ is going lose the title
because all the divas going to be against her, AJ’s going to some how look like
she’s going to win then Tamina going to turn on her, and win the Diva’s Title
The Chief-
Nicki Bella who will pin
Tamina Snuka, causing a feud between AJ Lee and Snuka.
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal:
As many have said that this
is The Big Shows match to Win, I feel the Miz might be the dark horse in match,
who will be the start of a big year for the Miz, possible forming a heel
faction with both Ziggler and Ryder.
Freestyle-
I very much see Ziggler
taking it, if you take a look over his matches in the last month, he has been
on a hot streak, and there is no reason on why it can’t continue at Mania.
The Chief –
Going with all the experts on
this one, with Big Show eliminated Dolph Zigger at the end of the battle royal.
Delay-
It
is sad that they have put the Shield in this match and not against better
opponents who would not only put them over, but also be more entertaining. Look
for the Shield to win, and carry the match the whole entire time.
Freestyle-
I have a funny feeling that
X-Pac may come out to help against the shield, then CM Punk returns and helps
shield but either way draw.
The Chief-
I see the Shield scoring
the victory by DQ.
Fatal 4-Way for the WWE Tag Team Championship:
Delay-
This is going to be the final
straw for the Real Americans, jump-starting Cesaro’s face run, and possible
gold capture by Summerslam. Look for the Uso’s to maintain the belts, after Swagger
finds a way to screw things up with Cesaro.
Freestyle-
I see the Real Americans
going over in this one, winning their first Tag Team titles.
The Chief-
With the help of a Real
American’s melt down, the Uso’s will keep their titles.
Delay-
Your time is up, Mr. Cena. The WWE is
currently creating the next best thing since Hall of Famers Jake the snake
Roberts and Mankind. Never will he be
the face of the WWE, but he will bring everyone in with his well-calculated
promos, and very good ring presence. Bray Wyatt goes over on Cena tonight in
what I expect to be the match of the night.
Freestyle- As usual I see Cena somehow finding
a way to come out on top of the Wyatts.
The Chief-
John Cena overcomes his demons, and pulls out
a victory over the Wyatts.
Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
Do you really expect Lesnar
to win? Undertaker wins #22.
Freestyle-
Lesner is going to dominate whole
match then brother love or someone random going to come out with the urn as the
Undertaker gains power and wins. Paying tribute to Paul Bearer
The Chief-
The Undertaker will finish Lesnar off with a
tombstone for 22.
Daniel Bryan vs. Triple
H:
Delay-
It would be very interesting if Triple H were
to take the match over Bryan, and quite honestly, if this were not the biggest
show of the year, it would be a better story, before giving way to Bryan later
down the line. But since WrestleMania is often the blow off for major stories
like this one, Bryan wins and advances to the triple threat match
Freestyle-
CM Punk might find his way
into this one, screwing over Vince and Hunter and helping Bryan into the main
event.
The Chief-
The match will go to Daniel
Bryan, but it will not be the last we hear from Triple H tonight.
Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan or
Triple H:
Batista
has laid a smelly egg since his return in January and quite honestly, Orton is
extremely boring, even though at times he shows signs of excellence. But it’s
Bryan’s night, look for 70,000 plus to be throwing their arms in the air
screaming Yes, as Bryan hold up 2 belts as the show goes off the air. Look for
Cena to come out and congratulate him at the end. Much like Luger did at WM 10
and Eddie Guerrero did at WM20.
Freestyle-
The Main Event, its got to
end with WWE stock going up, so as much as I’d like Orton to win it’s all about
WWE stock so look for Bryan to win the gold.
The Chief-
With a movie on
the horizon, and the fans starting to come around, the WWE will put the belt on
Batista, with a little help from Triple H. Sticking it to all the people of the
#YesMovement.

Make your own Wrestlemania Moment.
Welcome to the day wrestling fans wait for all year long. I know some are not as excited as they should be, being that the fight card may not be up to par with their expectations. But, nonetheless it's WWE WrestleMania. The day when history is made, where conversations are started that will last many years.
Maybe this is your first Wrestlemania, where for the first time you see some of the most of this world pyrotechnics to go along with the larger than life wrestlers.
Or maybe this is your 30th Wrestlemania, where you now sit there with friends or maybe a family of your own and reminisce through past years of experiencing the showcase of the immortals.
But regardless of how many times you have watched the greatest show on canvas. Find a way to make this one special. Whether you're sitting in the Superdome in Nola, or your bedroom in your home, find yourself your Wrestlemania moment.
One that you can share with a younger fans many years down the line. As one day I pray to do if I have kids. Telling them how amazing it was to watch Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon make a work of art out of a steel ladder at Wrestlemania 10.
Then ten years later some guy who they do not let us talk about beat both Triple H and Shawn Michaels to become world champion.
Or in a frigid Metlife Stadium I saw the Dead Man beat the Best in the World, before paying tribute to his friend and manager Paul Bearer
Those are my personal experience with the Super Bowl of Wrestling. Find that one thing that you can take with you and hold in your memory all of your life, until the day you can pass it down to a new wrestling fan.
So in closing, have fun tonight, don't get too down if your favorite guy is not there or does not win. It's Wrestlemania, it's live, and like Vince says, "When it's live, nothing can go wrong.
